The user

Laura Ruiz, young Mexican professional that only saves cash for short-term expenses, spends 90% of her income in paying for housing, services, transport, food and entertainment. She does not know nor understand investing tools and is worried about her economic future.

The importance of knowing the user, and using tools for empathizing and gaining insights, such as observing, researching, interviewing and surveying in order to develop relevant user journeys,  empathy maps, storyboards, jobs to be done among others!
User Persona
The problem
How might we help young Mexicans with a lack of knowledge on savings, investment and finances, to improve their saving habits and average income for the age range?
Ideation

InvestFriends, an app that allows a group of friends to create a joined savings account that allow them to get better revenue for their money.
How it works?

Service blueprint: 6 steps to how the app would work.
1. Laura creates a profile
2. She creates an investing account and invites her friends
3. Each Invest Friend creates their own profile and joins the account created by Laura to make their first deposit.
4. The app calculates the Return of Investment and suggest amounts for each to deposit according to their investment plan and goals.
5. Team members can know what percentage of the ROI they get.
6. InvestFriends gives rewards when achieving individual and collective goals.
